Oral use
This medicine is used as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to manage symptoms related to estrogen deficiency in postmenopausal women. It may also be prescribed to help prevent osteoporosis in postmenopausal women who are at high risk of fractures and cannot use other approved treatments.

This product combines two hormones: estradiol, which is chemically identical to the estrogen naturally produced by the human body, and dydrogesterone, a synthetic form of progesterone. It is typically prescribed to postmenopausal women to help manage symptoms such as hot flushes and to support bone health. The combination helps reduce the risk of estrogen-induced endometrial hyperplasia in women with an intact uterus.
Estradiol helps replace the estrogen that the body no longer produces after menopause, which can relieve symptoms like hot flushes and support bone density. Dydrogesterone complements estradiol by protecting the lining of the uterus from overgrowth, which can occur with estrogen therapy alone.
